Reflection#4

Long Term Goals=Bachelor’s Degree for Psychology

Mid Term Goals=Transfer to Cal State Fullerton

Short Term Goals=Do well in all of my classes

Dear Sabrina,

I am so glad that I was capable of getting all of my classes. Classes’ right now is very hard to attain because of the waitlist. In all of my classes, I study very hard and focus on my work without socializing with a lot of people. Sometimes there is a lot of difficulty like lack of sleep and it causes me to have stress. At the end of the semester, I passed all of my classes and I was proud of myself. I feel very smug at that moment and very self-satisfied because not many people have this opportunity to take this advantage.

After finishing all of my sixty units, I have decided to transfer to Cal State Fullerton because I need one more step to go any further. Before transferring, I have to go to the Cadena Transfer Center to help me how everything is supposed to be accurate to go to the school that I want to go to. Also, it is closest place to go to from my house. By taking advantage of this opportunity, I attended in all of my classes and used a lot of different learning methods to make my studies more understandable so I can feel very confident about my studies.

Do you remember that I said that I will “risk it all and do whatever it takes to achieve my goals” even though it sounds as if I am a bit insane? Well, guess what! It has been a year to reach at a certain point where I want to be. I am very close to obtain my Bachelor Degree in Psychology because it has cool information about behaviors. I was so happy that I couldn’t believe it myself that I can do things by not giving or resigning in my studies. To me, it seemed a bit surreal, because I am the first generation in my family to go to college.

                Your Best Friend,

                                                                Sylvia J
